Fresh cranberries, for garnish

To prepare the Cordial: Combine all the ingredients into a pot, heat until it reaches a simmer, mixing to dissolve. Then, remove from the stove and let it to cool down fully. Decant to a sealable bottle, seal keeping it chilled, it will last for around one month.

For the Batch Mix: Mix all the spirits and syrup into a large bottle, leave to sit for one hour, then filter it , ideally through cheesecloth, so it's completely strained.

When ready to serve: Measure 85ml of the premix to a cocktail shaker containing ice, and stir carefully for a minute until cold. Pour to a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, decorate with a few cranberries and complete it by giving it a light spray of the essential oil above the glass.
